Eagle Plant celebrates first anniversay of becoming Employee Owned!
13th April 2017:
Yes - its been a year since Eagle Plant became an Employee Owned Company, our first birthday!!
We have worked tirelessly to work more closely with our employees, keeping them informed about their business and seeking their views through our Employee Council. The first of two Employee Trustee elections has taken place with a further trustee election in the next few months. All qualifying employees have shared in their first bonus, which is linked to the success of the business. Further changes will be announced to our staff in the next few months as we continue our employee ownership journey. Look out for further updates here soon!

9th November 2016:
Saw the first Employee Council meeting held in Bristol. Employees received training as to how they should undertake their responsibilities as Councillors. This was followed by presentations from two of the Eagle Plant Directors who outlined the current state of the Plant Hire market and Eagle Plant specifically. A question and answer session followed where councillors had the opportunity to ask questions of the Directors on a wide range of subjects concerning the Eagle Plant business.
28th November 2016:
November saw all eligible employees receive their first bonus following the recent move to Employee Ownership.
Will see the election of two Employee Trustees, all employees will be able to take part in a formal ballot.
Eagle Plant continues transition to real & effective Employee Ownership
09/09/2016 John Pass, the Chairman of Trustees, has recently announced that elections for the Employee Council will take place during October 2016.
The first Employee Council meeting will take place in November 2016. This will give our employees the opportunity to influence the decisions that are made on their behalf as shareholders of the business.
The Trustees are also pleased to announce the appointment of our new H R & Wellbeing Manager, who will take up her position mid September 2016.

Eagle Plant is now Employee Owned !!
13/04/2016:The Directors of Wessex Eagle Ltd (Eagle Plant), Wessex Eagle Holdings Ltd and Wessex Eagle Trustees Ltd are pleased to announce that our company is now Employee Owned!
Today all legal formalities were finalised and our move to Employee Ownership is now complete.
This has been an exciting day for all of us here at Eagle Plant and we hope our customers and suppliers will join us in looking forward to a mutually successful and prosperous future together.
Eagle Plant to become an Employee Owned company !
25/02/2016: Eagle Plant's shareholder recently announced that he would sell a controlling interest in Eagle Plant to an Employee Trust. This will effectively transfer ownership and control of the Eagle Plant business to its employees. This change is likely to be completed by the end of March 2016.
Working with the Employee Ownership Association a new Trust Company will be formed and the Trustees will hold shares on behalf of the employees. It is anticipated that there will be five trustees, two elected by the employees themselves, two trustees from the trading company (Eagle Plant) and an independent chairman. The current Directors will continue in post.
These are exciting times for Eagle Plant's employees and customers and it is hoped this development will signal further growth for the business.
