To celebrate 50 years in the plant hire industry, we’re celebrating with a one-of-a-kind golden Eagle Plant Kubota from C.C.E Plant Sales, and matching custom Whites Buckets.
Established in 1975, we’re proud to be celebrating 50 years in the plant hire industry in 2025. What started in an old brewery site in Chard as part of a small building company has now become a well-established, trusted plant and tool hire company with 30 branches based across the UK from Manchester to London and then across to Redruth.
Michael Grimoldby and his (late)wife, Vivien took on Eagle Plant back in 1994 where it became what you know today.
Expanding into new areas as well as increasing plant equipment, tools, and accommodation hire.
We pride ourselves on our staff with over 250 employees today who have and continue to work hard every day. With managers throughout the depots who have ‘’come up through the ranks’’ acquiring the key skills needed to run such a successful business. This gives our customers peace of mind that we know what we’re talking about in the plant hire industry.
With a very ‘hands-on culture’, this extends to every level of the business, making sure we always deliver on our promises. If we say we can do it. We will.

The golden Kubota & Cabin will be shown off at the St. Stithians Show in Cornwall as well as the Mid Devon Show in Tiverton before being available to hire.
